I scan using the HP Easy Scan app on my MacBook Air. All of my scanned file sizes are huge, over 1MB for a single page of B n W text, and take between 1 to 2 minutes to scan. Color takes even longer and results in a bigger file still. I have the resolution set to 200 dpi and cannot find any other parameters to adjust. Any ideas to fix this will be appreciated.

@Captain767, Welcome to HP Support Community!

You can try a different file format when saving the files. Try scanning using Apple Image Capture. Refer to the document HP Printers - How to Scan (Mac) for help.
