Hi,
about 20days ago my Color LaserJet start to return Scanner Error 5 (when the device is switched on after the initialization, saying that I must switch off and on again repeatedly).
this is a video that i found on youtube showing what happens the same as my printer,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_JGn4nFeIY
the scanner does not seem to find the correct calibration or the limit switch and the motor scratcher continuing to push the scanner head ... and therefore it never allows me to start with normal use, I looked at the scanner body, following the detailed instructions, and everything looks normal and clean, even the white / black stripe and windows clean further.
my device is in excellent condition .. except for this problem (but no longer under warranty)
How can I solve this problem?
Is it necessary to clean the scanner head internally?
if so, how do you open it?

Try to clean the scanner's glass,mirror.... or you will have to replace it.
There're another modes's video on youtube.
