Set up cartridges

I recently bought a hp 4100 series printer without “set up cartridges “

I then bought some cartridges locally but when I try to print via the hp  smart app on my iPad, it comes 

up with an error message “ use set up cartridges “

does anyone know how to over ride this?

Hi @Dan_70,

We would have to perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error

• The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
