Setup printing from iPad mini to LaserJet 1320 not working

Hi, I have setup an iPad mini to print on a LaserJet 1320 using the HP Smart app. The app recognizes the printer and has the green circle with check mark, but when I send a document to print, it doesn’t go into the printer queue and won’t print. Everything is on the same network and I’ve tried rebooting the iPad, printer and router. Any suggestions?

Hi,

the printer is not supported on iPad, either by Apple AirPrint nor HP Smart, it is not expected to work with the app and therefore does not work.

 

You may find any supported mobile print capabilities listed below, the HP Laserjet 1320 printer is not supported on iOS in any way:

You may try the 3rd party Printershare app, check and see if it may work with your printer:

http://printershare.com/help-mobile-supported.sdf
