LaserJet M506
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I am incredibly frustrated with a new Laserjet Enterprise M506.  The printer was purchased, in part, because of its advertised 45 PPM.  We have never been able to reach those print speeds.

Latest troubleshooting:

1) Reinstall drivers on Windows 7 machine

2) Experiment with changing Print Processor - current set at winprint and raw data type

3) Upgrade firmware - current running  Revision 2308216_001065; Date Code 20170922

4) Change printing preferences - set to paper size letter; plain paper type; no duplex.

Despite all these efforts, no change.  I have tried printing from both Word and Acrobat and no noticable difference in time.  A text only PDF (60 KB) document prints at about 20 PPM.  This is less than half the advertised speed!

Any additional suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.  Given the volume of printing, 20 PPM is simply unacceptable.
