Purchased and installed a new Genuine HP 94a toner cartridge.  Still indicating toner is low.  HP Smart also shows no toner in the cartridge. I called Office Depot and they said I had to take it up with HP.  Any clue on how to contact HP for this situation?  I have gone through the steps of turning off the computer, unplugging the computer, leaving it off overnight, reinstalling the new cartridge.  Nothing helps. Has anyone ever had this problem?

@SteVJan, Welcome to HP Support Community!

If you have already performed the steps from the document 'Black Cartridge is Low' Message and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. I am sharing the contact via private message. In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps!
