Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

About 2 months ago I started finding printed pages in my printer outbox that I had not demanded. The 4-5 pages just automatically appeared without any input from me. They contain gibberish at the header area except for one page that has the following lines:

GET / HTTP/1.1

Host: 192.1683.1.10:9100

Accept-Encoding: grip, deflate

Accept: *.*

User-Agent python-requests/2.9.1

Connection: keep-alive

I can find no solutions Googling for answers. Any way to stop these events?

All help is appreciated.

Reset the printer

Resetting the printer can often resolve printing issues.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

  9. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Try to print. If the issue persists, continue to the next step.

Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor

Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor to automatically identify and resolve the issue.

Try to print.

Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates.

For more information, go to Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.

Hope this helps!
