HP M102w

I've just replaced the toner in my M102w printer and printed the Windows printer test page. The text near the bottom with all the driver filenames in has several lines which are in bold and in a slightly smaller font size, so they appear slightly squashed.

These lines change slightly in appearance each time.  Refitting the original toner results in normal text printed.

Is this a faulty toner cart or is there something I can do fix it?

If the old cartridge works fine then you can eliminate the printer itself as the cause and likely what is causing the problem is that the drum unit in the cartridge is not turning freely and is binding and causing the squashed letters. Try another cartridge.

Tx - I will give another one a try out. Didn't know there was a drum inside the cartridge as well as the printer!
