Product: Laser Jet Pro MFP M479fdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I  just bought this printer a week ago.  From day one, when I try to scan to email, the background is totally grey.  When I scan to my computer, the scan is fine (white background).  I've checked for updates and the firmware is updated.

Hi,

Please set up Digital Filing as described below:

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06269807

 

You should not see any similar behavior once setting Digital Filing to scan using the Scan > Email option on your printer screen.
