hp laser jet pro M203dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Wi-Fi Direct Print suddenly stopped working about two weeks ago. My hp 17t laptop had printed  wirelessly to my hp laser jet m203dw for over a year now. I can still print to the laser jet from my desk top hp 510 through the Comcast router. All HP diagnostic test have failed to detect the problem. I am unaware of any wireless network changes that would effect the Wi-Fi Direct Print .

Problem Solved:

I downloaded the “Hp Universal Print Driver PCL-6” for the HP Laser Jet M203dw.

File Name: upd-pcl6-x64-6.9.0.24630

Note this driver was stated as not supporting Wi-Fi Direct Print so it may not fit other users' needs.

Upon running the program I was told “You already had the recommended drive, do you want to replace it?” and I said YES. The printer set-up went smoothly and a Test Page” was successfully printer from my laptop downstairs to the laser jet upstairs using my wireless network connection.

I don't know why the old driver “suddenly decided not to print”. It still works fine over the ethernet connection from my desktop HP 510 to the comcast router and then wireless to the laser jet.
