i had to reset the password on my HL_L2340D printer and now it is printing all black pages with white letters!  so i look in the printer properties and i do not see a solution. so is this setting in the printer and if so what do i look for.  and  change can't have this. thanks

drum contact or high voltage power supply issue. As this forum is for the support of HP products only I suggest that you may want to find a Brother forum if you require more detailed answers.

thanks repair trooper.  but as it turns out i was asking the wrong question and to the wrong forum. i was having a brain fart as i have a brother printer and when i was posting this the wife was telling me the printer was a brother. i just do not know why i went to hp and asked. she had to jap slap me and wake me up.

 

but what happen was windows installed the hp software for the brother printer, after i went to brother and got the correct driver and went thru the install gene it is not setup and working find.  if i went to the correct forum first i would not have wasted anyone's time.  but all is not lost as someone just may have this issue with a hp printer.  by thanks for the help even if it was the wrong site to as on my part.  thanks much
