Color Laserjet Pro MFP M277dw

Hi,

I am experience trouble printing powerpoint slides. I just want to print the whole powerpoint, but after two rounds of printed paper, the printer is coming up with errorcode 49 and turning off and on again automatically.

This only happens with powerpont. When I turn the powerpoint into a PDF there is no trouble. I have tried multiple powerpoints, multiple times, but it just won't work.

Could anyone help me out? I haven't got a clue what's wrong with my printer.

That is interesting, usually that happens when trying to print PDF's and web pages. Typically it's the result of a font in the page that causes problems that the firmware can't process, but any data that the printer cannot properly process or comprehend in the job will cause this. Make sure your firmware is the latest version as it can help, but is not a guarantee.

By converting the Powerpoint into a PDF apparently removes the offending data that allows it to print correctly. Different printer models will behave differently, as well as different versions of firmware. Trying a different/newer firmware or a different printer may help. You might also try a different printer driver as it may also make a difference.
