"You need to download the HP Universal Printer Driver.  (see link below).   Manually setup the printer to print on port Dot4.    It works!

Apart from the port, it's the same solution (VISTA 64 bit driver), Qdlaczian  published on the first page of this thread. I have also tested this solution, but when the printer rans out of paper, it does not work any longer and I have to restart the printer.

Just download this driver http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=306506&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=2100

Extract, and use built in system add printer wizard, or add driver i device manager.

Don't use setup app.
