Solved!

jam on laserjet proM452

Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

The display says JUam in output bin. Open rear door to clear. When we open the rear door, there is nothing there that is visibly jammed.

Check closely on the back of the printer, you may have a page jammed in the fuser which will be very difficult to see and if it is there nearly impossible to remove without taking printer apart.

If you do have a jam and need to disassemble the printer, you can purchase a manual at feedroller.com

Thank you for your help, can you be more specific on what the fuser is?

the fuser is the part of the printer that bonds the toner to the paper. It consists of one roller with a heating element in it and one roller that provides the solid surface to press the paper against the heated roller.
