Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We replaced an older linksys router with a new netgear AC1200 and now the Laserjet will not communicate with our PC. When I go into the admin screen on the router the printer does not even show up. Is the printer just to old for a modern router?

Are the IP address ranges  your new router uses the same as the old one? Does the printer have a static IP address or is the network card set for DHCP? My money would bet that your old router used an address range like 192.168.1.xxx and the new router is 192.168.0.xxx  or vice versa. Bottom line, make sure that the address on the printer is in the proper range.
