m477fdw won't print pdf files, says file is corrupt ... irritating

HP Recommended
m477fdw
macOS 10.12 Sierra

Using Mac High Sierra (10.13), but had same issue with Mac 10.12.

Printer won't print pdf files, said they are corrupt.  Tried resetting, using this post https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/LaserJet-MFP-M277dw-Printing-Issue/td-p/5553146, worked once, but now won't work now.   Reset print system on mac.  Have two macs, same issue when I try to print from either (both power books 2016, with high sierra).

Irritated with HP, paid a lot of money for this printer, now it is wasting my time, I have to drive to a copy shop to print my stuff.  Help.
