Hello!
I have no problems with my printer HP LaserJet p1102w under Windows 10, but under macOS Sierra 10.12 it works really slow ( I can print only 5-6 pages per one minute).
HP p1102w was easy added through System Preferences, AirPlay was also chosen and it should be work perfectly, however... nope. I tried to push "-" and "+" again, tried to reset "Printing Systems" - unsuccessfull.
This kind of problem was under previous version - OS X El Capitan, but there I could choose alternative (native) driver, not only AirPlay (for example, "HP LaserJet Professional P1100W etc.").
In the walls of macOS Sierra I see only AirPlay and no signs of native driver.
My Wi-Fi-connection is fast, secure and stable. HP p1102w is close to the router.
Consequently, could you please help me to find alternative driver for this printer with macOS Sierra support?

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂
Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.
I understand that you have an HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer and have read your post completely. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.
I suggest you to reset the printing system again. And this time do not add it as an Air printer. Please refer to the following steps:
- Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences.
-
Click Printers & Scanners, Print & Scan, or Print & Fax.
-
Right-click (or Control + click) anywhere inside the Printers window, and then click Reset printing system.
-
Click Reset or OK.
-
If prompted, type your username and password, and then click OK.
The printing system resets.
-
Turn off the printer, wait 5 seconds, and then turn on the printer.
-
Wait until the printer is idle and silent.
-
In the Printers window on the Mac, click the Add button.
-
Select your printer from the list, and then click Add. Do not add the Airprint printer listed. Select without Airprint.
It might take a few seconds before your printer displays in the Printers list.
I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Let me know the results. All the best! 🙂
