As I mentioned in the previous post we now have HP Easy Admin to accomplish this task.

The new HP Easy Admin tool will download the latest software for your devices w/o needing to connect to the printer itself.

If you are an end user you can use HP Easy Start to download and install the software.

 

If you are and admin or are unable to use Bonjour to connect to your printer, then you can use HP Easy Admin to download the software.

I'm also having the same problem, and am tech savvy, but need the actual drivers and not the Easy Start app.  If you could email me the drivers or a link to them I'd appreciate it.

Please look at the previous posts.  I am not pointing you towards HP Easy Start.  It is HP Easy Admin.

 

HP Easy Admin IS the tool you will need to use going forward to retrieve the HP software installer.  It is specifically for administrators and this purpose.

 

For more information on the tool and how it will fit your purpose look here.
