Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

printer is on and ready to accept transmission from mac. mac has driver installed showing the 225dn as available printer. the two devices aren't talking to each other. what to do?

To be able to assist you better, I would like to know the following:

  • How is the printer connected to the computer?
  • Is there any antivirus/security software installed on your computer?
  • Is there any error message on the printer or computer when you try to print?
  • Which application are you trying to print from?
