Sometime in the last few days my printer started reducing the size of all print jobs, I tried creating PDF's instead of printing from an application but it is an equal opportunity shrinker - everything is reduced. I reset factor settings and that did not help. Any suggestions. I am using a relatively new HP desktop with windows 10 and a laserjet pro MFP M127fw which is plugged directly into the computer using a cable. Thanks!

Print Size, including fonts, is managed within the program you use to submit the job to the printer.
You have perhaps left a previously used setting in Printing Preferences:
Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers >
Right-Click your Printer > Printing Preferences
Select the shortcut you want to use and / or select a shortcut > make changes > "save as" a new shortcut. Next time you want to use that custom shortcut, open the Properties / Preferences / similar name in the software used to submit the job and click to use the custom settings (shortcut).
Examples of Print Preview settings / setup
Right-Click a clear space along the top ribbon in Firefox > CHECK Menu Bar
Firefox > File > [Print] > Print Preview >
Scale: Select Percentage OR Shrink to Fit
Page Setup > tab Format & Options (wording varies)
- Shrink to fit page Width:
Setting is useful to control text / images that might otherwise extend beyond the sides.
NOTE: Ensure Scale is NOT set to zero
Internet Explorer > File > Print Preview >
Shrink to Fit > Fit the page contents to paper
Internet Explorer > File > Page Setup >
UNCHECK Enable Shrink to Fit >> Set page contents at 100%
Open Edge browser > open your URL / webpage > Settings (three dots, upper right) > Print > More Settings
Chrome > Settings > Print > More Settings
Place mouse at the right side of the Preview to see settings for Fit width and Zoom in / out
Adobe Reader DC
Open the PDF file (as shown with Adobe Reader X1/ Adobe Reader DC)
File > Print
Under Page Sizing & Handling: Select Actual, Shrink, or Custom Scale as appropriate
As always, be aware of the “extras”: Stay alert; UNCHECK the little boxes to avoid extra software you do not want installed along with the main Adobe Reader program.
- Scaling – Paper Size Auto Adjustment
Word document > File > Options >
Under Print >> Clear / Uncheck Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11" paper sizes
NOTE: This setting can be counter-intuitive; investigate both the CHECKED and UNCHECKED settings; select the setting that provides the desired result.
The following might apply to per page output up to sixteen-per-page:
Word document > File > Print Preview > Page Setup > tab Layout >>
Under Page Format >>
Ensure Pages per Sheet is set to 1
- Scaling Output – Document Format > Printed Paper Size
