my printer doesn't print and when I tried to reinstall it it didn't show up on the system and it's missing a driver. I need to restore factory setting

To be able to assist you better, I would like to know the following-
- How is the printer connected to the computer?
- Was there any error when you tried printing before you could uninstall the drivers?
- Is there any antivirus/security software installed on your computer?
