HP Laserjet p1505
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

How can I prevent my  Laserjet p1505 from printing self test / configuration pages?  I would rather prompt the machine to print those rather than having them printed frequently (waste of ink and paper).  Thank you in advance!

This almost sounds like a hardware malfunction. Perhaps the "Go" button "green" button is sticking? I was unaware of any automatic configuration that would cause it to periodcally print pages (some printers will let you program them to print cleaning pages every so often, but not this one)

Is the device plugged into a power strip? If so, you may want to try another outlet.

Wierd.

I am not a HP employee. I am a service tech on these forums researching topics and offering my best guess to aide in your troubleshooting.

Thank you for that suggestion.  I will try another outlet and see if that solves the problem.
