Product: HP LaserJet P4015 Printers

Hello,

 

I am testing HP Web JetAdmin to query all of our HP printer for asset management.  The requirement is to use snmpv3 to pull information from HP printers.

 

We have many different model of HP printers, most of them has snmpv3 settings has MD5/SHA1, and I can discover them.

 

We have some printer such as HP laserjet P4015 which requires 16 byte hex value for the MD5/DES and won't take the passphrase.  Is there a way that I can do to make this model of printer to take passphrase? 

 

If that is not possible, how do I create or generate 16 byte hex value for this type of printer snmpv3 requrement?
