the printer keeps saying paper jam, but there is no paper jam. right before i accidentily printed on transfer paper intended for inkjet printers only. Is there anything i can do to fix the printer.

Did the transfer come out whole? If not, it might be that there is a piece of the transfer stuck inside the fuser and jamming one of the flags. Open the back door and try to see if you can locate any paper. Sometimes you can see better if you remove all the toner cartridges and the paper tray and turn the paper on one side so you can see the entire feed mechanism.

The paper came out whole but a little melted. I tried what you said but I can’t see any paper stuck in there.  Thank you for trying to help. Willing to try any other suggestions you may have.
