toner cartridge won't go in and door wont close, contact pins are hangin down to the left uppercorner

hp 426
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my hp 426 had a paper jam. i pulled out the toner to get to the paper and now the toner won't fit back in.

I can see that the contact pins inside the printer at the upper left corner are hanging down. pushing them up does not help as they come back down, hence the toner keeps getting stuck to go in further. please help me!

Please post a picture. Most of those contacts are spring loaded and are supposed to be in the down position when the cartridge is out. The most common issue on this printer series is the drive shaft for the drum on the right side of the cartridge, especially on reman or 3rd party cartridges as the drives they use are slightly different to avoid Intellectual property rights.
