Hi All,

We have a CMA 4000 where we book Video Conferences (VC). After we book the VC in CMA, an email is sent to the Outlook account of the user logged into CMA. The email is a calendar invitation and should be automatically appended to the Calendar. We used to have this functionality working fine when we were on Exchange 2003.

When we upgraded to Exchange 2010 a problem has occurred. No longer is the email automatically appending to the Calendar. If you double click the email it tries to show the event in the Calendar but it says Meeting cannot be found in the Calendar. (Please see attached image titled email). You can't accept the invitation because you have created the meeting.

I have spoken to our Telco who manages the system for us and they cannot figure out the problem. They are running Exchange 2003 so they do not experience the issue, so I believe it is Exchange 2010 related. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Now we have to manually create the Calendar entries as they do not automatically append to the Calendar.

Kind Regards,

Tanya

Hi Yaspal,

In the CMA server we have specified the System-generated Email account details, which requires you to enter a from address (which is a polycomcma mailbox account on our exchange server) and the SMTP server address (exchange server).

Then in exchange we allow the CMA server to send emails to it.

By Default CMA sends Calendar invitations. If we don't set the System-generated Email account details then the emails will not be sent from CMA.

Thanks.
