Hi,

We are currently using the polycom CX5000 with an OCS 2007 R2/Lync implementation but will soon be moving to using Cisco Webex/Jabber, I'd like to know if the CX5000 will work with WebEx to display the panoramic room view, has any tried/tested that as I can't see any thing in the documentation.

Thanks,

Steve

“Digestion and processing” of the panoramic view requires software in the client system. Only Lync/OCS/Live Meeting client from Microsoft handle the panoramic video stream. Other clients have not been adapted to use the panoramic video stream.

Polycom only tests with and support Microsoft clients.

Active Speaker view is somewhat normal USB video stuff.  Polycom has had reports of the CX5000 with Active Speaker video, not panoramic video, used successfully with WebEx and other non-Microsoft clients.

I was also working with a customer to set up a cx5000 with an on-premisis WebEx product and we received very choppy/robotic audio.  Any reports on this?
