Jeff et al. There's a rumor that new CX7000 s/w might support additional daisy-chained HDX mic pods (and perhaps Ceiling Mics).
Rel Notes for V1.1.0 don't mention it. Is there any truth in said rumor?

Solved. Web blog by Graham Walsh I think specifies that V1.1.0 does support max 2 HDX Mics (ceiling or table top). Solved.

Official Answer:
- New Features
- Support for using the system in standalone sign-in mode.
- Support for signing in to Lync Online using Office 365 accounts.
- Support for using the system in additional languages. You can now use the system in English, French,
German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and
Simplified Chinese.
- Ability to allow users to log in to the system to view their meeting and contacts lists.
- Support for environments where users’ Microsoft Exchange accounts are different from their Lync accounts.
- Support for Polycom Acoustic Echo Cancelling.
- Support for Polycom ceiling mic or daisy chained mic arrays (up to 2).
- Support for the Polycom CX5000 unified conference station.
- Inclusion of the Lync 2010 Cumulative Update 5 (CU5) in the software.
- Reduction in the bandwidth required for VGA content sharing.
- User interface enhancements.
