I am calling a MCU4515 bridge ip address from an M100. I get the welcome screen, dial into the room, get connected - we see each other and the MCU4515 disconnects with a H.245 error. The M100 has no problem connecting to other systems. The MCU4515 has no problems with others connecting. Help!

i would like to ask you couple of quetions to get into it-1)the system from which you are trying to dialing up is on static IP mode or on DHCP mode 2)you are dialling from public IP or from private IP.

Which the MCU software do you have?
Does call from the MCU to M100 establish?
Get tcpdump on pc with m100, it will be useful for understand the problem

you must have a firewall involve whille calling cheack with the system outside firewall if you have a NAT so please make sure the firewall ports are open for audio video T/R.have you tried with other system with M100 Regards Yash Pal

Hi

You have a NAT(PC has a privat IP, MCU has a public IP) and should check that firewall ports are open.

 

I see many "H.245 Miscellaneous Command" message from m100 to the MCU. Device sends this message for requesting new key frame from far end device. Endpoint can't decode incoming video payload (because lost several previous update video payload/frame)

 

Do you see any packet loss on MCU (or m100)?

 

You can try to reduce the "Maximum transmitted video packet size" on the MCU.

 

You should upgrade your MCU and m100 to latest version.
