Poly Studio X50 with latest 4.4 firmware

In Teams Mode with the latest Teams app applied.

We are having a muilti site Teams meeting where a presenter will be in one of the rooms at a podium beside the X50.  They may be walking around a bit too. We think it will be distracting if the guests in that room are chatting or making noise, so we want to have the presenter use a separate MIC.  We have a few different wireless 3.5 MM mics, but are having trouble gettng them working so the sound is heard in the Teams meeting.

On the Studio X50's web interface, we have gone to Audio/Video into the Audio section.  The default for the Playback Options was Playback to All Locations so we plugged in the 3.5 MM MIC.  We can hear the external 3.5 MM MIC as though it is using the Poly as a speaker.  However, the Teams Meeting participants are still hearing the built in MIC on the Poly.  We tested this by taking the MIC out of the room and having the presenter speak into the MIC.  The people in the room could hear the presenter from the Studio X50 speakers, but people in the remote site could not hear them.  They could still hear the people in the room.

Even selecting Playback to Far Site or Playback to Far Site, Mute Controller did not send the audio from the 3.5 MM jack into the Teams Meeting.

Is this just another one of the features that only works in Poly mode and not Teams Mode? Is there an option for an external MIC (preferably wireless) that will work for this setup like a USB MIC?

Thanks Steffan,

Looks like it does work in other modes, but not Teams Mode. Think I will have to see if MS will take a feature request for this.
