Hi everyone,

I have a question on content and video that I'm unable to find answer from admin manual and I would like to ask it here.

First, this is what we have:

Near side:
    HDX 9001 with two TV
    Software version : 3.0.5
    Monitor 1: Display far video
Monitor 2: Display near video & Display content

Far side:
HDX 7000 HD with two TV
Software version : 3.0.x (not sure about the ‘x’)
    Monitor settings: same as above

During a video-conf session, when we don’t send content, everything’s OK (ie we see each other on the screen).

But we’ve found that when I send my content on screen, well, on my side, I have (near side) content on monitor 2 and far side video on monitor 1 which is exactly what I want.  But on the far side, my content replaces my video on their screen (ie monitor 1) instead of having BOTH my video and my content!

And I have the same problem when far side sends content: far side video is replaced by far side content on my monitor!

So my question is: is it possible to have both near side video and near side content on the far side?

Thanks in advance

With two monitors you can configure either monitor to display content.  Please see the monitor section of the HDX Administrators Manual at the below link.

Also the monitor configuration is configured at the local site.  The far end has no control over how a near end displays content.

Yes, I know.  And that's what I've written in original post:

Monitor 2: Display near video & Display content

And?  So what is the answer to my question?

Hello, anybody there?  Can anybody give an intelligent answer to my question?
