Hello, 

 

I was wondering what steps I need to do in order to downgrade the firmware on a Poly X series system.

What's your goal? Any reason for needing to downgrade the firmware? I think others have had success with using a FAT32 formatted USB drive to downgrade.

Welcome to the HP community.

 

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product, the HP Poly Software, or the Partner application you are using.

 

This is important especially in the future when someone finds this post in days, months, or years to come.

 

Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

 

Same question as @nlev what is the reason behind this?

 

  • If the device is running PolyOS 4.0.0 it cannot be downgraded. I
  • f the TC8 or TC10 runs 4.1 it cannot be downgraded

 

As this info was not provided we need to wait for your reply.

currently we are running into a network/hardware issue due to the firmware. 

 

current version: 4.1.0-382263

Need to downgrade to: 3.14.

as explained you cannot downgrade.
