We tried to change the camera name of E70 installed together with G7500 running MTR mode, any changes doesn't reflect on the camera controls while in teams call.

 

Device details:
G7500 - Software version: 4.4.0

E70 - Software Version: 1.11.0

 

anyone encountered the same issue? or maybe this is a "limitation" as of now?

Hello @Pot-Pot ,

 

Welcome to the HP community.

 

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the Partner application version you use. We assume Microsoft Teams.

 

This is important, especially in the future, when someone finds this post in days, months, or years.

 

Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

 

In the FAQ or the Read 1st section, we remind users why this is important.

 

Did you update the G7500 and the Touch Panel to the same version? 

 

Any issue with the Partner Application should usually be reported back to the Provider of the Application as this is using their Platform and they would be the ones to be able to change it if they can.

Do you mean the Teams Application Camera Name?

The above is what the Microsoft Android Application shows when one or multiple cameras are attached.

The above are the camera names when swiping from the right on the TC Touch Panel using the Poly Camera Control.

just to reiterate on this, our Partner Zoom as an example has no issues picking up the defined camera names from our PolyOS in their Application.
