G7500 remote not connection with codec

Remote was working today and then dropped and does not work
Switched out batteries, tried another known working remote, still unable to connect
Endpoint has been restarted and still able to pair remote, changed batteries
Asked site to disconnect all cable from the Poly g7500 and then try to connect remote when only power cable in

Site has called and explained no other endpoints g7500 with the same remote to test with.
