We have a RealPresence Group500 conected with a IP7000, while it works as expected we encountered a few problems with it.
1) If we plug the microphone array cable to the IP7000 without restarting it, the group500 wont recongnize it.
2)Once the IP7000+Group500 are conected two softkeys apear on the IP7000, one to start a video call and one to start an audio one. The video softkey works as expected, the audio one allows us to dial but when we try to make the call nothing happens, the input to start the call is ignored be it by the softkey or the actual "green phone" key on the IP7000. Whats strange about this is that we are able to make audio calls by simply dialing the number, waiting for the prompt to ask us if its an audio or video call and selecting audio.
Thanks.

Hello PHSIT,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used software version of all devices involved as this may affect the reply that can be given.
The Group Series and a SSIP7000 in combination require a certain Software version to operate together.
- For the group series I would recommend the latest 4.1.3 software
- For the SSIP7000 I recommend the UCS 4.0.4 (check the links in my signature for any VoIP related issues like updating etc.)
The Audio call option is usually for a registered SIP extension on the SSIP7000 itself to utilize it as a stand alone conference phone without the need to use the Group Series all together.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
