polycom real presence group 500

We have a polycom real presence group 500 codec, and we are unable to change any of the time settings.    Though the web interface,  and the time settings are greyed out, and unable to be changed.

Does the system have to be reset in able to change these settings?

Welcome to the HP community.

 

Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product, the HP Poly Software, or the Partner application you are using.

 

This is important especially in the future when someone finds this post in days, months, or years to come. Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.

 

I can only assume that the unit is provisioned by Clariti manager / Resource Manager and therefore an end user cannot locally change this.

 

If an issue like this cannot be resolved via a public community post, please work with our support organization in your region. Details on how to contact us are in my signature

Our   Polycomm Real Presence Group 500 codec has software version 6.1.6.1-460003.      This appears to be

an older version, with    6.2.2.7 the latest revision.   Seems that 6.1.6.1 needs to be upgraded to 6.2.0.2 before

it can be upgraded to  6.2.2.7.        Would a software reset enable the time settings to be updated?

you have not answered the above. 

 

A software upgarde most likely will not help as the provisioning still would be the same. In addition we do not know if you have the relevant service in place to even be entiteled to a software upgrade so this may raise additional questions.
