Hi Polycom Community,

I am in need an advise to confirm below behaviour observed on Polycom group 700.

First - The user tried to share a HDCP content - by write, it is confirmed will not display as the codec not supported.

Second - After connecting/sharing a non HDCP content - the group 700 still not shows and share content. An advise to stop the codec to from sharing first prior do a share using a non HDCP source is taken into consideration. The only way for group 700 to shows non HDCP content is to make a restart.

From here, my question is It is a normal behaviour of the Group 700 to require reboot/restart? the point is why needs restart to resolve the share content, as we already stop the share content of HDCP source in the first place?

Hello Alfie,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Out of courtesy to other community members could I kindly ask you to follow up your original post => here <= via ticking the solution provided option if this is the case ?

That way other community members find this post easier when searching for a solution.

in regards of your new question it is always useful to include the currently used  Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

The above is also stated in the "Read 1st ! Welcome to the Polycom standalone video endpoints support Forums!"

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
