Hi,
Does anyone know how to SHUTDOWN a HDX8000 via Telnet and also how to it back on?
I can only restart it or wake from sleep but not shutdown or turn on (something similar to wake on lan). Any help/work around would be much appreciated. Thanks.

We have no Telnet or API command for “power down” so the best method might be to send a command via IR emitter to the HDX/Camera to power-off the HDX.
Our HDX can respond to a query message about status… and then the IR sequence could be sent to power the system off.

The HDX hand held remote is an IR device. Other devices on the market such as AMX or Crestron controlers can emulate the IR functions of the Polycom remote
When powered down via the IR remote, you can only wake it via IR or the front power button. API communication over IP or serial is not active.
