Hi All,
I have a HDX BRI Module and the unit stopped responding with the HDX Endpoint, in fact not responding to any endpoint, when I attach the BRI module to any HDX the 4 Ethernet Ports lights both orange and green flashes constantly for 20 seconds, stops, then flashes again. This goes on and on. The unit is not registering to the HDX unit at all.
Can anyone indicate the cause of this error message on the BRI module?
Regards,

What are the ISDN lines connected to, are they U or S/T interfaces? What country is the unit in. What kind of HDX, 9000 or other? Do you have an NT1 connected to the inputs? When you power cycle the HDX what do the lights do? What other changes have ahppended with the unit, has the software been updated, was it moved, where the ISDN lines moved, were the ISDN lines changed in their prosivioning?

Hi,
the QUAD BRI module he is talking about is for a HDX 7000, this unit is in South Africa so it has a U interface as far as I know, the ISDN line have not been moved or have been tamperd with. the HDX does not register that the BRI module has been connected when we disconnect the module and reconnect it. above spattieball described what happens to the module when it is connected
any help would be appreciated

Thanks for your response.
The HDX7000 that the module is connected to did not receive any new updates or any provisioning. The ISDN lines are online tested and working.
We removed the module and tested the module on several HDX systems with the same module and we get the same results. Once you connect the module then the unit Green/Orange ISDN port lights turns on and flickers for a few seconds, turns of and turns on again and flickers for a few seconds and turns of, this cycle continues until you remove the Module.
We then tested a different module on the HDX system which registered to the HDX system thus confirming that both the cable and the HDX is not the problem.
Do you have any suggestions what else we can possibly try?
