Hi guys,

I have an issue where a newly installed HDX7000 is showing content on a 2nd monitor in maybe 2/3 of the screen with a solid black border the whole way around it.

I have checked that content is set to Stretch and that the monitor settings are on the correct resolution.

Has anyone come across this before and have an idea of what a possible fix for it is?

Cheers

Shay

Make sure the resolution of the system is the same as the native resolution of the display.  Also try a different display.  It sounds like the display is not sync-ing to the codec properly.

Try setting the setting to NONE, then input the same resolution as the display is set to (i.e.. 1280x720) and see if that fills it.  It is the difference between the input resolution and the resolution of output.

Thanks Steven,

There is no issue with normal video - its just when sharing content.

Ill get the customer to change the suggested setting and have him reverse content to monitor one to see if the issue persists.

Cheers

Hi

if you want to full screen content without black border,

you should set following comand to hdx via telnet:

if your content on Monitor 1: systemsetting overscanenabled1 False

if your content on Monitor 2: systemsetting overscanenabled2 False

Set to True if you want to turn overscan back on

Regards
