We are in the process of setting-up a new HDX8000 and found that audio/POTS call handling seems to be limited (when compared to our old Tandberg 95 MXP).

 - Can the HDX8000 receive and bridge incoming audio calls on ALL available ISDN channels?

-- We were only able to connect two audio lines simultaneously.  Why can't we use the other four channels?

 - We are not able to establish voice communication with incoming telephone subscribers.

-- We can respond to and answer the incoming call but the far-end can't hear us

-- We can here far-end but not audio is transmitted from near-end

-- The call is disconnected by the HDX8000 after about 3 minutes or so

-- This symptom only occurs when the incoming telephone call is the first active connection/call

-- This symptom always occurs when the incoming call is from analog or digital phone

 - The HDX8000 (just as the Tandberg 95 MXP) has a LAN connection and three ISDN lines (6 channels).

You will need the HDX multipoint license.  I did some testing with my HDX which has a PRI line and was able to make mutiple ISDN audio calls both in and out.

Ken,  I also can place calls to multiple phones (via ISDN).  Our problem comes up when we receive an audio call; and it is the first active call/session.

So, if  a call/session is already active, I don't experience any issues with incoming phone calls.  However, if I receive a phone call to an idle system, my audio doesn't transmit and the call is disconnected after about 3 minutes.  I'm then forced to identify the caller and call them back.?.?.
