Hello @Gposs ,

welcome back to the HP Poly community.

HP Poly does not make the operating System running on the MTRoW, we also do not make or maintain the Microsoft Teams Software running on the MTRoW.

I suggest you contact the Microsoft Support organization in your region so they can keep you in the loop on their timeline around their software releases.

EDIT: You also never provided the required information or how you solved your issue >here<

Best Regards

@Gposs; Microsoft confirmed the issue and is fixing it in the next Microsoft Teams Rooms App release (due mid\end July). It affects various certified MTR devices of different brands.

Its the end of July. Any word on the new MTR app release date? This issue is a major pain.

Hello @BT8324

welcome to the HP Poly community.

We have shared Microsoft references throughout this community post so you can open a ticket with Microsoft and our Partner can update you on the progress on their software.

This is not a Poly issue so please work with Microsoft as I would not want to close this post.

As a Reminder Microsoft case #2406270050002805 /Bug 3858857

Best regards

Hi Steffan. I saw this but I can't seem to find any update in the Microsoft Store. And like you I found the script for the manual update is still linking to the previous version.

HI BT8324,

Upon returning from my vacation, I immediately reviewed the status of the MTR app's update deployment to the initial update ring and found that it has not been implemented yet :(. Furthermore, this update is not present in the MTR Pro Portal, which is quite concerning, as my intention was not to conduct manual updates across all rooms.

I have inquired in our Microsoft support ticket about the absence of the update in the MTR Pro Portal. I am anticipating a reply, but please also reach out to your Microsoft contact or submit an escalation ticket should you have further queries.

I've noticed they have updated the release notes on the MTR app's website:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/rooms/rooms-release-note?tabs=Windows

The webpage for manual updates of a Microsoft Teams Rooms device also reflects new information;
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/rooms/manual-update,  The latest version  of the MTR-app is currently available for manual installation.

The day after my last post I checked the manual update script again and it had then been updated to the 5.1.24.0 version so I did a manual update using the script (there was no sign of any automatic update). This was successful and I can confirm that this version resolved the display issue for me on our GC8. Now when my system resumes from standby/sleep the screen displays correctly!
