Hi all,

We have a Poly X30 with a TC8 running on MS Teams.

When we are presenting via the HDMI ingest, the TC8 goes into standby (screen turns black).

This happens every 10-15min but when this happens it stops presenting until we touch the TC8 and it lits back up.

Both are running on the latest Poly FW and MTROA version.

X30 version 4.0.2.348012

TC8 version 4.0.2-211096
MTR version
1449/1.096.2023062301

Any suggestions on this?

Hi @Jan

Quick question, Is Sleep setting enabled at yoour device?

 - If yes, then there is bug in MS Teams Room/Poly OS client.

 - Is the sleep time matching the time the screen turn black?

Workaround is to disable sleep setting. Set it to "0"

Out Of Office settings work, so the endpoint will go to sleep when it enters OOO time.

Hello @Jan Jespers

welcome to the Poly community.

As explained by @Dan_Hemsø  or for example in this post >here< this is a know bug and you can work around this via:

  • Using Device mode instead
  • Make a call on the Device and present from a PC/Laptop
  • Change the Sleep timer

The Poly Ticket on this is EN-240929 and we look at fixing this in the next 4.1 release

Best regards
