Polycom-HDX 8000 

 

Software ver : 3.05

 

Had 2 x Polycom EagleEye II Camera (one New) .

For the old one can be detected fine but for the new one keep showing unknown and when the new one plug in - cant control from the remote to pan any direction.

 

Any help/  suggestion or way to could  factory reset the eagle eye camera.?

Please check the camera cable.  It is VERY easy for those pins to get bent!! (Voice of experience here !!).

Does the same thing happen after a power cycle on the codec with the camera connected?

 

Have you tried doing a camera detect after connecting it?

 

Are you using the same cables? 

 

What is the MPTZ model numbers on the camera?

 

If the camera is not detected then you will not have camera controls.


There is no way to reset the camera in the way you have asked.
