Hi All

Just purchased a new dell desktop which ships as standard with Windows 8 enterprise and hooked up my Telepresence m100 along with it's recommended camera the Microsoft LifeCam Studio but am unable to get the cameras on board microphone working during VCs

Have tried all the below without any resolve.
- Updating to the latest version of Polycom Telepresence m100 v1.0.5.29417_4151
- Run all windows patches 18 Feb 2013
- Updated all drivers from the dell support site for use with windows 8
- Install ed the latest version of LifeCam 4.25.512.0
- Running m100 with administrator privlages
- Tested LifeCam with skype and it works fine .

Workarounds found
- Use external Mic such as the one on a Microsoft LifeChat LX-6000

Can Polycom please look into getting windows 8 support as it's getting very hard to avoid in an enterprise environment.

Hello DrJohnEckles,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

As you are already aware the m100 is currently not  Windows 8 compatible.

Due NDA I am unable to comment on a future availability and would suggest you work with your Polycom reseller to contact a Polycom Sales Engineer.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
