We've got a Polycom VBP 5300 video border proxy that is acting as our H.323 gatekeeper. It's been running great from when it was installed a couple of years ago until last week. Now it's rejecting (or possibly not responding to) all attempts to register with it (endpoints are mostly Polycom HDX 7000 HD). As far as I know, nothing has changed on either side, or on the network. Has something expired?

Hello 

 

Do you see any registration rejects messages in VoIP ALG > H.323 > Activity?

 

Troubleshooting procedure:

1) collect network trace on VBP, use tcpdump command (take a look to >>VBP Configuration guide<< for instruction)

2) find h323 messages in the trace

 

 

P.S.

 Have you tried turning VBP off and on again? 😉
