Hi Guys,

i have Polycom HDX 7000, integrated with Skype for Business,

when i start videocall i can hear only sound, no video.

I buy RTV/CCCP to unlock internal codec.

In polycom guide i found were i should put my key.

The key starts on K (with 16 digits)

I tried put key in Polycom options (admin setings-general setings-options-key)

But nothing happens. I know that the tick with the name of the license has to light up.

What i doing wrong.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

  • HDX Software Version 3.0.5 added Microsoft® Lync® 2010 qualification
  • HDX Software Version 3.1.2 added  Microsoft Lync 2013 compatibility

In addition if you previously purchased an RTV license for Microsoft Lync 2010, you can request a free RTV license supported for Microsoft Lync 2013.

 

I suggest you work with your Polycom reseller to ensure you are using the right license and the correct software build.

 

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

I have version 3.1.7 and fresh license for lynk 2013(never used).

I follow this instruction: 

Activating Options on the Polycom HDX System

If you want to activate Polycom HDX system options without upgrading your software, you do not need to download software or run the software update. To activate system options on a single system, go to System > Admin Settings > General Settings > Options and enter the option key.

But, when i put my key and click UPDATE, nothing happens, NOTHING

 

I simply want to be sure that I correctly make the actions.

 

Anyway i will do as you say. I will call to my reseller.
