HDX touch control upgradation using RPRM

Hi All

Am new to this community. Am having a query regarding polycom touch control upgradation Via polycom Real presence resource manager.

I want to upgarde a bunch of HDX systems touch control in a single shot. Can anyone please help me on this.

Note: I had tried to upgrade the touch ctrl but am able to update only ZIP file packages to RPRM but not to the device. Can any one Pls help me on this with the steps & procedures.

For directions on updating the HDX and accessories, including the Polycom Touch Control, please refer to the document about it, located here. Under the Usr and Maintenance documents, there is the Upgrading document.

It will provide all the options available for updating the Touch Control.

Hi

In RPRM admin tab am not able to find the software update option(am using RPRM 8.1). So please let me know any other method for updating the touch control using RPRM 8.1. I've referred admin guide of RPRM but of no use so pls help me on this.

AFAIK in order to have the ability to upgrade PTC you must have the paired HDX/RPG system being operating in dynamic management mode. Usually both main system and PTC software are updated simultaneously.

Hope this explain the issue.

Hi

Sorry for the very late reply. Just want to update this point. Just got an info from an old friend, that HDX touch control will be updated only if the "automatic update" is enabled in the touch control, but this option is not available in web interface. This option can be enabled directly(physically) in the touch control device.
