So this seems to have stopped working for us again.  It was working well, however at some point along the line of the many firmware and Teams app updates it has stopped working again.

 

We tested this across several rooms and it is consistently not working.  We tested running the latest 4.6.0 firmware and also downgraded to 4.5.2 to test.  Both not working.

 

I also tested on rooms with the following Teams App versions (also with no luck):

1449/1.0.96.2025325609

1449/1.0.96.2025223801

 

I am in the process of logging this with HP - as soon as my partner has all the details of the system I am testing from.

 

In the meantime - any ideas from anyone?

Hello @lighthouse13 ,

 

Welcome to the HP Poly community.

 

Considering that our Partner Microsoft provides the application that would enable this feature on our devices and looks after the infrastructure on which the feature is hosted, I suggest logging this with Microsoft support as there are no changes on our end to stop this from working.

So this is indeed looking like something network related.  Rooms are being denied access to several cdn.office.net addresses.  When access is allowed to these, PowerPoint Live is visible in Teams Rooms.

 

Strange since that host is not listed in Microsoft 365 URLs and IP address ranges - Microsoft 365 Enterprise | Microsoft Learn, however it may be 'behind' on of the host names listed there
