Hi,

We have a client using a VPN with a Sonicwall NSA3500 firewall and a HDX7000 endpoint.

We have given the HDX7000 and NAT address, however the system will receive inbound calls but not able to see or hear the otherside. However the far end can see and hear the endpoint.

The near endpoint can also initiate a call, but there is immediate extreme packet loss of over 1000 packets.

Ports TCP: 1720, 3230-3235 & UDP: 3230-3280 are all opened up. The HDX is running 3.1 SW.

Internally, we can make and receive calls ok.

Any ideas of what is causing the issue??

Thanks

Obviously the issue is with the firewall. Make sure the firewall is set up to allow H.323 video, and supports UDP packets.  Would recommend checking with SonicWall about how to configure it for 2-way H.323 videoconferencing.
